Ireland!

Little, green, different, better...
Maynards immediately run amok near Dublin
Ahh, the Guinness Brewery
It was a little odd and artsy-fartsy for me
But the views from the top were nice
Too bad it was a grey day in Dublin
This looks like a city
Skinner at Trinity, where the book of Kells is housed
Skinner plays "moster" with the neato maps
But he quickly tires and is put down for a nap
Catherine's friend, Army Man, poses at a litter can...
But he can't shake the feeling that he is being repressed...
So he takes a nice break in a comfy spot
Look! Singing Orangutans!
We headed into the countryside to this nice waterfall
And we took pictures of it...
And we posed...
Kate and I got cute in front of the falls, too
Then we rolled out to see an old church where our family worshipped
And we posed for a picture
Apparently this is for good luck...
Kate and Catherine took a pony ride
And were forced to wear silly hats
Mom and Kate at the Avoca woolen mills
The streets of Ballybay
Our lodging in Ballybay
This is an old house in Ballyrahan where one of my ancestors took refuge in a battle
Side view of house
Artistic picture of house
You can still see the bullet holes from the 1700's
Skinner is still fat, unfortunately
But Katie looks all cute with the thistle
The view was really nice
Lotsa green in Ireland!
Skinner is cheesy at a church
Catherine gets a shot of the interior (it was broken when we got there! Honest!)
Glendalough is a collection of 5 really old church structures
Kate and Skinner in the rain in Glendalough
Towers Rock!
Skinner poses by old chruch
Aww, Kate and Skinner are cute
Skinner wins!
Um...
The Glendalough archway
Newgrange is a 5300 year-old burial site
With huge, ancient burial mounds (older than the Pyramids at Giza!)
Surrounded by many smaller passage graves

Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland coast is pretty
Damn
And they have beaches...
And hills...
And Pastoral views
Kate's ancestors are from here
It is a pretty peninsula in a bay
With tiny ponies
But pastoral views
Look! Posing!
More views
And views
And more tiny ponies
Reverse angle!
The Giant's Causeway rules!
They are a natural rock formation
But, damn, it's odd
I am sneaky
Yay, us on the rocks!
Wet rocks
Dad goes in for a souvenir
We take bets that he will get his foot wet
Closer...
Closer...
There we go!
Yay dad!
Group shot
Aww, lovers on the rocks
We tried to do a cool special effects thingy
But decided we needed to drink more
So we got to be whiskey tasters
8 shots is a lot of whiskey
This little town is where some of Hugo's people are from
It is neat that they still have the old gate house
And it rules when there is mist rolling over the hills
Skinner and dad take a moment to enjoy the scenery
